V1: The little things, you do to me are Taking me over, I wanna show ya Everything inside of me Like a nervous heart that, is crazy beating My feet are stuck here, against the pavement I wanna break free, I wanna make it Closer to your eyes, get your attention Before you pass me by C: So back up back up take another chance. General Commentits about a girl and shes really into this guy. 'the little things' he does to her makes her like him even more, and she wants him to see how much she likes him cause she wants to be with him.idk maybe they've tried being together before and it didnt work so she wants to try again? Thats why she says: 'don't you say that I'd be better off better off siting by myself wondering if.

'The Little Things' is the third single from Colbie Caillat's 2007 debut album, Coco. It is a pop, folk-pop, acoustic song written by Caillat and Jason Reeves. The single did not chart well in the US, and was her weakest charting single from her album Coco. In 2008, she recorded a French translated version of this song.

Music video[edit]

European version[edit]

The video features Colbie Caillat and her love interest towards a man, Troy Dudley, the same man who appears in all of Caillat's videos. The video was for the European market and was shot in San Francisco and is separate from the storyline of the other videos.[7]

U.S. version[edit]

Another music video for the song was shot in Hawaii according to the pictures on her MySpace page.[8] The video is a prequel to 'Bubbly' and features Troy Dudley, the same man who has appeared in all of her other videos. In the video, Caillat is shown riding on a bike in Kauai. She bikes past the house of the man she likes while on the way to work. She works at 'Bubba Burgers' and ends up seeing him while she is at work. The video then moves to Caillat and her friends swimming at Black Pot beach in Hanalei Bay. The last segment shows her at a party, where she talks with him.

Use in visual media[edit]

EDITORS’ NOTES

Colbie caillat the little things traduction

Although “Bubbly” was the immediately likeable hit that propelled Colbie Calliat’s music career, the Los Angeles singer/songwriter proved on her 2007 debut Coco that her tunesmith talent is no happy accident. The songs here also reveal a young woman brought up on the coast — as well as on the sounds of classic pop music. Coco radiates Malibu sunshine starting with “Oxygen” where her sandy alto waxes lyrical on romance. Her prowess as a balladeer surfaces in the heartfelt “Realize” while the tension in her vocals makes for a knockout performance in the sultry slow-jam “The Little Things.”
