Morrowind Overhaul Windows 10
- I upgraded my version of Windows from 8.1 to 10 this morning. After setting everything up the way. I like it to be I launched The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Game of the Year Edition to find out that the full screen mode is no more.
- The Morrowind Overhaul is devoted to making Morrowind look and sound beautiful. The torrent link from the Ornitocopter front page is the easiest way to get hold of the mod at the moment.
- Morrowind Overhaul 3.0 So when I go to the install windows for the Morrowind graphics and sound overhaul, where it asks you if everything is up to date (the files are with the morrowind files and everything is exactly how the video shows), everything is green and dandy until it asks me to extract the files, Once I press the button and lose controll of my mouse I can get it to work again but.
I have a problem with running Morrowind Overhaul - Sounds And Graphics on my fresh Morrowind installation (through Steam).
I deactivated Steam Overlay, even deactivated ingame MGE, but when I press on 'New' to start a new game in the loading screen it crashes to desktop.
I also checked all options and I can't find issues. The problem itself is reproduceable as it happens everytime I try.
Welcome all to our Beginners Guide page here on the Morrowind Modding Wiki! Before I begin, I would like to take the time to mention that this guide is aimed at the absolute beginner. That is, someone who wishes to install and use mods for Morrowind, but has no prior TES modding experience or is completely new to modding in general. So I will be explaining topics in detail that some of you. It's worth to mention that OpenMW is open source Morrowind engine remake which allow much greater modability: change game rules, create new spell effects, etc. Through scripting. With OpenMW you will be able to run Morrowind overhaul mods, texture replacers and much more like with original engine.
Until this point everything seems to load fine.
What can I do to make me lose once again a time of youth in Morrowind?
If you need any more information, please let me know.
Without MGSO it runs perfectly. So maybe one component of this mod causes an issue?

It seems like Morrowind cannot play the cutscene in the beginning of the game for some reason. You could open MGSO settings, go to misc tab, then open Morrowind Code Patch and see if Morrowind code patch has this enabled:
If you have it disabled, enable it and vice versa to see if it helps anything.I couldn't find any other settings that could affect the video.
Then of course, try running in windowed mode and compatibility mode should be XP SP3 for Morrowind.exe.
If that didn't help, check if you have any other software that let you limit your FPS and/or add overlays to games. If you have MSI Afterburner and Rivatuner for example (Rivatuner lets you cap the FPS of the game and add an overlay to it to show your temps etc.) turn it off and see if it works.
I did some searching for you and some people have succes with installing MGSO in XP SP3 compatibility mode. Completely remove the mod and install it again.

The Wechsler IQ test has been used for more than 50 years. In fact, the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) is among the most widely used scales for IQ tests. The present scale is the fourth edition, known as the WAIS-IV. Psychologist David Wechsler(1896-1981) created what we now refer to as the Wechsler IQ test. He developed the first. Morrowind Overhaul Windows 10
Other mods: a lot, but the game works perfect if MWSE is not on
Error messages: none, just a straight up game crash upon trying to start a new game
OS: Win7
edit: I solved it through including Morrowind.exe in the Data Execution Prevention whitelist.
